GRAMMY winning guitar virtuoso Frank Gambale announced today the Frank Gambale TV Channel on YouTube.

Flattered by the amount of user generated content already on Youtube, Frank is heeding the call to communicate directly with his fans in a new, more intimate way. With over 30 years of material under his belt, there is a huge archive of footage he is now inspired to share; much of it never seen before including behind the scenes, candid material and instructional content. Acknowledged the world over as an innovator on the guitar, Frank recognizes the innovative changes happening in the digital world stating “I am 100% behind these new social media outlets. They bring together all of my fans to a central point where they can really stay connected and I can stay connected with them. It's a wonderful opportunity and I am excited to fully embrace all this technology."

Gerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead recognized Frank's ability early in his career and declared “My personal favorite guitarist is Frank Gambale." Arriving on the L.A. scene in the early '80's, his rise to fame is a testament to his passion powered playing—a style Rolling Stone magazine calls “ferocious"!

As jazz legend Chick Corea describes Frank, “he is one of the most incredible guitarists on the planet. Everything he touches with his guitar turns gold..."

Gambale originated the sweep picking technique elevating it to a precise art form now standard in the guitar lexicon. A musician's musician, composer, innovator and author of numerous instructional books and DVDs, Frank continues to reach unprecedented sonic and technical heights.

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
