There is no better value or way to experience the music of some of the finest legendary and emerging artists from around the world than with the XRIJF Club Pass. --John Nugent, Rochester International Jazz Festival Co-Producer and Artistic Director
The Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival's (XRIJF) 17th edition three and nine-day Club Passes go on sale this Friday, October 27 at 10 a.m. at rochesterjazz.com. The 2018 festival returns to Rochester's East End Entertainment and Cultural District June 22 to June 30.

The Club Pass is the festival's popular value pass to discovery, giving music fans a significant savings over individual show tickets and the opportunity to access up to 225 Club Pass shows at 12 different venues during the nine-day festival.

“There is no better value or way to experience the music of some of the finest legendary and emerging artists from around the world than with the XRIJF Club Pass," said John Nugent, Co-producer and Artistic Director. “With the Club Pass you can see as many shows as you want and come and go from concerts as you like. Veteran fans will remember Norah Jones, Grace Kelly, and Jake Shimabukuro, who were up and coming artists when they played our Club Pass series to standing room only crowds. Now they are huge stars in jazz. That's why we say, it's not who you know, it's who you don't know."

New this year, the festival will offer two Club Pass options- Shareable and Personal Passes

“This year we are excited to announce that we will offer both Shareable and Personal (non-transferable) 3 and 9-day Club Passes," said Marc Iacona, Co-producer and Executive Director. “While the Club Pass has always been non-transferable, just like your gym membership or ski pass, patrons told us in our most recent survey that they would like the option of a shareable Club Pass. So we are happy to be able to provide this new choice. We encourage people to share both the cost and use of the pass. Go in on a pass with friends and family if you can't use it for all 9 days or share with clients, customers and business associates."

Whether you buy a Shareable Club Pass or Personal Club Pass to keep for yourself, the savings are substantial. If you use your pass for just two shows a day for nine days, the individual ticket cost would be almost $600. Most people attend an average of five shows a day. The savings add up, and you have the freedom and flexibility to see as many shows as you want each day. Just show your pass at the door and enjoy the music!

Seating at Club Pass Series shows is first-come, first-served with the Club Pass or by purchasing entry at the door. You do not need a Club Pass to see Club Pass shows. Single entry price to any Club Pass Series show without a Club Pass is $35 at the door at Kilbourn Hall and $30 at the door for all other Club Pass venues. There are no advance sales for individual Club Pass Series shows. Save Time in Line Wristbands are available for the early shows at Max and Kilbourn to save patrons time in line.
