Wilco Announce Spring Tour Dates & Album Details

Wilco

Wilco has just finished mastering their upcoming new record and are getting ready to hit the road for a major spring tour. The dates and presales are going up fast and furious.

Already on sale are: Berkeley and Lake Tahoe (Stateline, NV).

Just announced: Cincinnati, Oklahoma City, El Paso, Tucson, Pomona and two shows in L.A. and more are coming very shortly with plans for the East coast in July. Complete, announced Wilco tour dates available here.

You can purchase tickets for Wilco at Ticketmaster.com.

Don't forget the “Ashes of American Flags" DVD is out next Saturday (April 18) for Record Store Day. Wilco will be kicking off the new touring season with a live webcast from Milwaukee's Pabst Theater this Wednesday night at http://wilcoworld.net/roadcase. Prior to the first show, Wilco will be at Miller Park for the Brewers game on Monday night where Jeff Tweedy is scheduled to throw out the first pitch.

The forthcoming and still-untitled next Wilco album is nearing completion. Jim Scott and the band spent the last few weeks mixing in Jim's studio in Valencia, California and here's a list of song titles spied on the reels - note this is not necessarily complete and not in sequence.

Deeper Down
Conscript (aka I'll Fight)
One Wing
Solitaire
Wilco (the song)
Country Disappeared
Everlasting
Bull Black Nova
Sonny Feeling
You and I

Rumors and blogs regarding a guest appearance on that last track are, amazingly, quite true. Feist does indeed lend a great vocal to “You and I." Other details will emerge in the coming weeks. The release is currently scheduled for late June on Nonesuch.
