Whirlwind Recordings gives modern jazz a fresh, new face. The label’s inspired roster of talent bridges genres, instruments and generations—a testament to founder Michael Janisch’s insight into not only where jazz has been, but where it’s headed. —Downbeat Magazine
Whirlwind Recordings celebrates its 10th anniversary this month. Save up to 50% off selected CDs, LPs and DLs!

What started out as a simple venture for founder Michael Janisch to release his own music has blossomed into one of the premiere independent labels releasing contemporary jazz and related musics in the world today. Our catalogue consists of more than 140 albums and we’ve had the pleasure of working with over 85 international artists. We have many exciting new releases and events planned to mark this landmark occasion, and, as ever, we thank you for your incredible support along the way.

Our 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY JANUARY SALE is now running until Friday January 31st (London UK time).

We are offering discounts of 50% on digital albums and CDs (except pre orders) and 30% on vinyl editions including the last few remaining copies of our stunning range of coloured vinyl.*

Prices have already been discounted on our site—you don’t need a discount code. Visit our STORE PAGE to add to your music collection at up to half the normal retail price.

TOTE BAG OFFER

All orders of six or more CDs or more, or two or more vinyl, will be sent out with a FREE Whirlwind Recordings Tote Bag (while stocks last).
