Walter Beasley acclaimed saxophonist and vocalist intended to teach for just one year after graduating from the prestigious Berklee College of Music. Beasley’s professorship spanned nearly 30 years: He admits getting hooked when he saw students grasp the musical prowess he was imparting. Deemed as the highest-selling recording artist/full-time professor in modern history. Beasley continues creating, teaching, and now performs full-time.

Ronnie Laws: What is it about Houston, funk, jazz, and soul? About spending summers with your Juilliard scholarship winning older brother who downloaded to you while studying classical musical and performing jazz?

Soprano/Tenor/Alto Saxophone, Flute and Vocals. Unprecedented cross-over success—R&B, Pop, Jazz, Contemporary Jazz. Earth Wind & Fire’s original tenor and soprano saxophonist, Laws was featured on “Last Days and Times.”

Quincy Jones needed a tenor saxophonist, Ronnie stepped up. Ronnie Laws has performed with Stevie Wonder, George Duke, Bobby King, Stanley Jordan, Ramsey Lewis, Hugh Masakela, The Jazz Crusaders and many more.
