SOMERSET, NJ –Vocalist PJ Parker is offering Jazz lovers an early holiday gift – reduced rates on digital downloads of her individual tracks and full albums.

Now through 11:59 p.m. on December 24, PJ’s tracks can be purchased from PJ’s Web site (www.pjparker.net/buymusic.html) for only 50 cents, while her full albums can be purchased for $4.99. That’s about a 50 percent savings over the original prices of 99 cents for a track and $9.99 for an entire album.

PJ, who has recently released her third CD, “Dreams Are Meant For Two” on her PJB Creatives, Inc. label, said she wanted to offer the reduced prices to give Jazz lovers a break from today’s ever-increasing costs.

In addition to her latest CD, also included in this program is PJ’s first CD, “Intimate,” and her Christmas collection, “It’s Christmas.” Exempt from the 50-cent offer is the track “Not Beneath The Tree” on “It’s Christmas;” details on a special promotion for that track will be released shortly.

PJ’s three releases have won rave reviews in the United States, France and Canada, and have been given airplay across the country and as far away as South Africa.

In praising PJ’s latest release, Andrea Canter of JazzPolice.com said the CD “is the sort of recording that pushes an already-competent artist into the realm of ‘talent deserving wide recognition,’ and hopefully critics and audiences nation-wide will take notice.”

“With Dreams Are Meant for Two,” Canter wrote, “PJ Parker has issued a definitive statement of intent—to challenge the heart, to unlock memories, to reinvent the familiar, to entertain. And to do so on her own terms, with her own voice.”

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded albums and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, limited reopenings and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary step that will help musicians and venues now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the sticky footer ad). Thank you!
