Smooth Jazz/Soul Singer's Sophomore CD To Hit Streets January 25, 2005

Since releasing his solo debut (1999's excellently received Crossing The Line) singer Nicolas Bearde has continued to earn critical acclaim for his performances with Bobby McFerrin's Voicestra (he's one of its original members) and the Grammy-nominated A Cappella group Linda Tillery and the Cultural Heritage Choir. With the upcoming January 25, 2005 release of All About Love, Bearde is once again turning his focus to his solo recording career, with a CD dedicated to the many manifestations of that enigmatic emotion.

All About Love, on Bearde's own Right Groove Rekkids label, showcases his sophisticated and soulful voice, which has been variously compared to that of such legends as Marvin Gaye, Lou Rawls and Jon Lucien. The CD's 12 tracks include seven tunes emanating from Bearde's own pen, as well as the singer's renditions of classics from Burt Bacharach, Donny Hathaway and John Coltrane. Guitarist Chris Camozzi, who produced several tracks on the CD, also adds his multi-faceted talents on electric and acoustic guitars, as well as on keyboards.

Bearde has already begun to perform to support of All About Love both with McFerrin and with his own band, The Right Groove. His shows with The Right Groove, including a recent appearance at the Russian River Jazz Festival, have received considerable critical acclaim.
