A night of original music, in this vibrant club, from the Fresh Sound New Talent vibraphonist. Featuring some great musicians well known to Brooklyn (and Europe) plus a serving of newly composed tunes along with tunes from Beckham's FSNT debut "Suspicions."Show your appreciation for jazz music in our city come down to FAT CAT, the legacy of Smalls.
Tom will also be featured in a concert with the Boston Modern Orchestra Project on January 17th, at Jordan Hall. The ensemble will feature a performance of Gunther Schuller's "Variants", composed for jazz quartet and orchestra. In addition to his work with Gunther Schuller, Tom is also featured on the new George Schuller CD "'Round 'Bout Now" (Playscape) along with Ingrid Jensen, Donny McCaslin, and Dave Ambrosio.
