Richi Van Zeppelin—brings his incomparable NOWtet to the Highline Ballroom on Friday, June 22 to perform his remarkably varied, accomplished arrangements of classic Led Zeppelin songs for contemporary acoustic jazz ensemble. Captured on the extraordinary—and equally underground—recording, The NOWtet Plays Zep!, this performance will provide lovers of both Led Zeppelin and uncompromising modern jazz a uniquely exciting performance by Debonis and his band of brilliant performers, as well as a rare glimpse into the creative of world of one of the most talented — and under-appreciated—drummers and bandleaders alive today.

Joining “RVZ" in the NOWtet for this performance will be Adam Kolker on saxophones, Andy Gravish on trumpet and flugelhorn. Jeremy Manasia on piano and keyboards. Carlo DeRosa on acoustic bass and special guest guitarist Ben Monder (who is also featured on The NOWtet Plays Zep!) and other surprise special guests.
