Tortoise Announce Tour In Support Of New Album Beacons of Ancestorship

Tortoise

Tortoise, the world-renowned Chicago music pioneers, announce first summer dates hitting several major American cities and a few festivals far and wide. Beacons of Ancestorship is the band's first record in over five years and continues to demonstrate their ability to push boundaries, remold their sound and yet still retain a sense of cohesion - a singular “Tortoise" mood/feeling/sound that is truly their own. The band will tour Europe in the late summer and return to the U.S. for another string of dates in the fall. Keep an eye out for additional news in the near future.
