Rumours are spreading around the UK jazz circuit that two of the hottest jazz vocalist have teamed up together and recorded a duet. Ian Shaw, signed to Milestone Records and already one of the most respected male vocalists to come out of the UK, is said to have been delighted to be asked to appear on a forthcoming release by Clare Teal, One of the UK's most talked about new voices. Details are sketchy at the moment, but the word is Clare has written a song especially for Ian and it will appear on her next album due out towards the end of this year.
Teal's first album for Candid Records, “That's The Way It Is" is selling well in Europe with fans eagerly awaiting her second release. Her popularity is spreading to other corners of the globe and this month sees the album launched in Japan and several other far eastern countries.
