Guitarist Tom Stewart has a new release entitled “Flyer." The CD contains all-original, modern jazz, featuring brilliant performances from Jeremy Powell on tenor saxophone, Mark Neuenschwander on bass, and Ian Goodman on drums.

The CD is available physically on CD Baby, and digitally through dozens of outlets, including Amazon, iTunes, Rhapsody and many others.

Tom was born in Tampa, Florida in 1966. After high school, he began undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, then transferred to Boston's Berklee College of Music. At Berklee, he studied jazz and concentrated on classical composition. He graduated from Berklee, cum laude, in 1990.

Tom attended law school in California and graduated in 1993. He worked as a trial attorney for over ten years.

But Tom always pursued his original passions: writing and playing jazz. In 2003, he decided to leave the practice of law and work full time as a musician. In 2006, he released his debut trio CD, “First Time Over." In December 2012, he released his second CD, “Flyer."

Flyer incorporates a wide sonic range and plenty of virtuosity by a quartet presenting new, compelling modern jazz.
