New York, NY: Talented upstate NY-based musician TJAY has knocked one out of the park with his much anticipated new album, “Take a Seat," which has already started receiving strong attention from fans and music critics alike. James Spina of 20/20 Magazine writes: “When a new singer/songwriter like TJAY with a vibrant CD like 'Take a Seat' comes along one surely takes notice."

TJAY is known for his smooth blues/rock vocal style and amazing guitar mastery. Although he began performing his music in front of audiences while in college to earn a little extra cash, his original career choice was baseball! Playing Division One Baseball for Binghamton U, TJAY clocked in with a 90 mph throwing arm, thus ranking in the Top 5 for career hits, home runs, RBIs, and breaking the colleges career doubles record. You can bet TJAY was attracting Major League attention.

However, word about TJAYs music spread and the crowds at his shows grew. “From there it was an easy choice," says TJAY. His authentic style has earned him favorable comparisons to John Mayer and Dave Matthews. Producer Steve Lillywhite (Dave Matthews Band, U2, Counting Crows, Jason Mraz, Matchbox 20) says: “(TJAY is) at the same place in (his) career that Dave Matthews was when he recorded 'Remember Two Things'."
