The Traneumentary: Joshua Redman

Saxophonist Joshua Redman is one of the leading players and personalities in jazz. His stellar recording's Wish and Moodswing not only set the tone for emerging jazz musicians back in the middle 90's but help establish the charismatic saxophonist to become a fan favorite and critical success. Throughout the years, Joshua has been extremely active as a band leader, recording artist and touring musician. He was also artistic director for the San Francisco Jazz Festival and the first leader of the critically acclaimed ensemble SF Jazz Collective from 2004-2007. Joshua continues to steadily work, record and tour with his own bands and is also a founding member of the collaborative group James Farm.
