The City of Campbell, CA's 2009 Summer Concert Series presents The Swing Solution, a 17-piece big band that can really get the joint jumpin' with its high-energy swing music. Founded in 1990, The Swing Solution brings together talent from all walks of life, all of whom are great musicians and share a common love of this wonderful music, as well as a dedication to its promotion and preservation.
The Swing Solution's music represents the very best of the big bands, playing the biggest hits of the Swing Era, from bands like Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Harry James, and Tommy Dorsey, to the best of the later bands, like Bill Holman, Stan Kenton, Count Basie, and Buddy Rich.
This free, outdoor performance will be held at the Orchard City Green in Campbell, California (70 N. 1st Street; Campbell, CA 95008). The music starts at 6:30PM.
