THE BALTIMORE CHAMBER JAZZ SOCIETY
PRESENTS THE TERELL STAFFORD QUINTET

The Baltimore Chamber Jazz Society closes its sixteenth season of exceptional jazz concerts at The Baltimore Museum of Art with the Terell Stafford Quintet on Sunday, April 29, 2007 at 5 pm. One of Baltimore's premiere jazz concert series, CJS programs some of the finest artists in jazz today. All concerts take place at The Baltimore Museum of Art, 10 Art Museum Drive, Baltimore. Tickets are $27 general admission, $25 for BMA Members and Senior Citizens, and $10 for students with ID at the door. For more information, please call the Chamber Jazz Society at (410) 385-5888 or visit www.baltimorechamberjazz.org.

The Terell Stafford Quintet features Terell Stafford on trumpet and flugelhorn, Tim Warfield on tenor saxophone, Donald Vega on piano, Derrick Hodge on bass, and Dana Hall on drums. A CJS audience favorite for several years, Terell Stafford returns for the season closer with his working band which includes saxophonist Tim Warfield. A gifted and versatile trumpet player, Terell Stafford combines lyricism and his deep love of melody with a spirited, adventurous edge. The end result is a uniquely expressive, well-defined musical talent who stands ready to carry on the rich trumpet tradition established by his predecessors.
