The 7 Virtual Jazz Club’s Contest 6th Edition Officially Begins - Applications for 2021 edition are now open

On 15th June, pre-registration ends and the sixth edition of the one and only online jazz contest in the world officially begins with great news: new prizes, new sponsors, new judges, new website and new voting method.

2021 Categories

  • Under 25: soloists and bands of 25 years old or younger, of any nationality, provided that they never had a booking agent, recording company or publisher;
  • Pros&Amateurs: all the musicians not belonging to the Under25 category.

How to apply

To enter the contest, soloists and groups pay a small registration fee and submit a video of their performance. Entries will be judged by a panel of 32 international jazz experts (meet the experts), comprised of some of the most respected journalists, musicians and educators in the field.

Prizes & Awards

Prizes go to the top three places in each category and include cash, live concerts at Jazz Club Ferrara (Italy); a workshop and masterclass at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, promotion contracts and technical products.
