TC CARSON & COMPANY IN FINAL PERFORMANCES AT TRIBECA PERFORMING ARTS CENTER MAY 26&27 WITH “EVOLUTION, MY LIFE IN MUSIC: THE LOVE SHOW”

Vocalist, TC Carson and his Company in final performances at Tribeca Performing Arts Center on Thursday, May 26th & Friday, May 27th at 8PM with “Evolution, My Life in Music: The Love Show,” his new show. One reviewer wrote, “Carson moved fluently from one song to the other in a way that kept his audience riveted, spellbound and swaying in their seats.”

In “Evolution, My Life in Music: The Love Show, ” TC and Company will perform original music and cover tunes about love, the way we love, how we love, the things we love, and what love can do to and for you. TC’s Company includes a back-up band and a background vocalist.



TC has appeared in two previous shows at Tribeca, the first last November, which featured him presenting such jazz standards as “All Blues,” “Round Midnight,” “My Funny Valentine,” and “Dindi,” with Patrice Rushen at the piano. The second show this past February featured Carson’s original music from his CD “Truth”. Songs featured in the concert were “Big Willie,” the soulful “Warm Is The Rain,” and the expressive title track “Truth”. TC says, “Even while acting, I have been singing. I have been pursuing my music all along. I have my own band with Ndugu Chancler and sometimes perform with Patrice Rushen, Patrick Gandy, and Del Atkins.”

For over 20 years the Tribeca Performing Arts Center located at 199 Chambers Street on the Borough of Manhattan Community College has been a leading presenter of dance, theater, and music in downtown New York City with a program consisting of jazz, dance, educational theater for children and a weekend series for families.
