Starting in the 1970's, Mr. Brubeck helped build bridges between the people of the US and the Soviet Union. He returned to Russia during the 1990's for a performance with the RNO, the country's first independent orchestra. RNO has also performed with Dave Brubeck and the Brubeck Brothers in the US. The principals and ensembles of the RNO have made numerous appearances with the Brubeck Brothers.
