Sunday Jazz in the San Gabriel Valley

The San Gabriel Valley's newest jazz spot, the historic Aztec Hotel in Monrovia, features “Out Too Late." every Sunday afternoon on the hotel patio. This high-energy quintet plays straight-ahead jazz, funk, and standards from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. “Out Too Late" members are:

Louhon Lowe - piano
Jim Miller - drums
Robert Pope - bass
Leanne Powers - sax
Harry Smallenburg - vibes

No cover, lunch menu available. The Aztec Hotel is located at 311 W. Foothill Blvd., at the northwest end of Monrovia's “Old Town" district. For more information, call (626) 303-3666.
