The All About Jazz concert calendar service is free to musicians, presenters and fans.

Here's a top level look of how All About Jazz collects concert dates, integrates concert dates and pushes them out to fans by region.

Submit Your Dates

The easiest way to submit your dates to All About Jazz is by using our submission form. We also import dates from three external sources including a musician's GigPress feed, ArtistData.com's feed and ThrillCall.com's feed. You can batch export your dates by outputting them in AAJ's proprietary feed format.

The submission form is an excellent way for quickly post your dates. You can submit your dates one at a time or you can submit multiple recurring dates (e.g. every Friday).

Export Your Dates

If you present high volume dates, strongly consider exporting your concert data in batches.

Once your dates are in our system, they will appear at All About Jazz on our local calendar page, on the bottom of every page, on a venue or festival's listing page, on an event detail page and on a musician profile page. These same dates will also appear at our (coming soon website) JazzNearYou.com.

We Push Your Dates Beyond All About Jazz

We offer three calendar widgets that radio stations, musicians, fans, etc., can place on their website or blog. You can create a calendar widget by location, by musician, or by venue. So, in addition to displaying your dates at All About Jazz, we also syndicate them around the web through widget deployment.

More importantly, we email your dates to our opt-in members weekly. If you are a member and would like to receive a weekly concert calendar in your area, simply update your member profile with your zip code. We plan to expand this service beyond our US members over the summer.

Jazz Near You Website and App

Jazz Near You is a regional jazz event information website that's coming later this year. In addition to the website, we're also developing a Jazz Near You iPhone app, so your dates will accessible from two websites, a mobile app, and from mobile.allaboutjazz.com.

If you have any questions about our free calendar service, please post them below or send me a private message. Help us help you by posting your calendar dates to the All About Jazz calendar network!

All the best,
Michael Ricci

All About Jazz needs your support

Donate
All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
