Greetings! Seattle Saxophonist Steve Griggs is going to Chicago to promote the release of his new Hip City Music release, “The Steve Griggs Quintet: Live!" Recorded by Jim Wilke at Seattle's Jazz Alley, this disk features 10 originals played by Steve Griggs, Jay Thomas (trumpet, sax), Milo Petersen (guitar), Phil Sparks (bass), and Jeff Stitely (drums). Steve's previous 2 releases featured drummer Elvin Jones.
