The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell today announced that the Stephanie Jordan
Big Band will appear on Thursday, April 28, 2016 in the Zatarain's/WWOZ Jazz Tent as part of the musical lineup for the 2016 Festival scheduled for April 22- 24 and April 28- May 1, 2016.
During last year’s Jazz Fest performance, Stephanie Jordan trilled the audience with stunning covers of Frank Sinatra
and Billy Strayhorn
’s work in honor of their Centennial celebrations. At The Power of Community: Katrina 10 Commemoration" held at the Smoothie King Arena and aired nationally on C-Span, Jordan framed the moment of the evening with a heartfelt presentation of the classic tune “Home" from the Broadway musical The Wiz" during the commemoration.

Started in 1970, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival continues to showcase the most important names in music history alongside many of Louisiana's favorite entertainers. Early-bird advanced single-day tickets for Jazz Fest are $60 through February 2. Regular advance ticket: $65 from February 3 through April 21.
The gate price ticket will be $75. Children's tickets (ages 2 – 10; adult must be present with child) are still only $5 and are available at the gate only. Single-day tickets to Jazz Fest are on sale by specific weekend, with each ticket valid for a single day's attendance.
