Spider Saloff’s Speakeasy: Songs of the 1920’s. November, 19th at 6:30 p.m. South Bend, Indiana. Tickets are $28.00 available @ 1-574-235-9102.

Nationally acclaimed vocalist Spider Saloff will make a rare appearance in South Bend for this lively evening of 1920’s jazz. Saloff will also interject her own special brand of humor into the performance with antidotes about the songs and the prohibition era.

Since the great success of her nationally syndicated radio series “Word & Music”, Spider is known as one of the great interpreters of the American Songbook and recently thrilled South Bend audiences in her stellar Gershwin concert with The South Bend Symphony Orchestra this past season.

Miss Saloff will perform with area favorites, pianist Jim Steele and bassist Darryl Tidaback. This show will be a perfect tie in to her latest CD release “Cole Porter Live at Maxim’s”. “Speakeasy” will be an evening not to be missed!
