She will appear with her trio July 6-10 in Cotonou, Benin, West Africa, and then tour France for 10 days in late July with “The Ladies Voices: Chants Traditionnels Gospel."
This international, French/Afro-American collaboration breathes new life into standards from the American Songbook. Known as the Joan Minor Quartet, this group performs jazz classics with innovative fluidity, which flows from combining their varied backgrounds and occasionally surprise with original compositions.
