BEST JAZZ VOCAL CD: Sony Holland - On a San Francisco High

In an awards presentation at the Galaxy Theatre in Los Angeles, SF based vocalist Sony Holland has picked up the BEST VOCAL JAZZ CD and BEST ORIGINAL JAZZ VOCAL SONG awards from Just Plain Folks.

Just Plain Folks Music Awards has grown to become the largest Music Awards program in the world. Their mission is to promote the best in independently released music. For the 2006 Awards they received 350,000 songs and over 25,000 albums in 70+ genres from 100 Countries, which were voted on by over 40,000 music industry members.

Ms. Holland will appear on ABC TV's “View From The Bay" on Friday, November 10th at 3pm. Her November 12th performance with Amanda McBroom at the Marine's Memorial in San Francisco is SOLD OUT.

Her latest CD is titled Out of this World and will be officially released at Yoshi's on January 29th, 2007.
