Skywards Dubai International Jazz Festival 2008 to Host an Inspiring Performance of the Prodigy Jessy Cook for the First Time in Dubai!

Adherent of rumba flamenco, Cook is to bring a dazzling stings performance to Skywards Dubai International Jazz Festival enthusiastic audience of this year with admirable energy and skill.

Chillout Productions is proud to have the virtuoso flamenco guitarist Jesse Cook performing on the night of February 28th, 2008 at Dubai Media City Outdoor Amphitheater. Jesse Cook has explored the limits of popular music, breaking new ground with each successive recording. With a unique style of blending African percussion, Cajun accordion, classical cello and pop vocals with the rumba flamenco style Cook has emerged exciting and original fusion feel in addition to a trademark groove-oriented flamenco style, adding dashes of Middle Eastern flavor, Latin forms of samba, jazz, and dreamy, atmospheric color. Nominated for “Guitarist of The Year" by The Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards Committee, with a selling record of more than one million albums worldwide and the Juno Award in 2000 for his album Free Fall, Cook has achieved a brilliant count in the world of music fame. Cook is a superior guitarist, and his fleet-fingered leads are in the spotlight throughout, however he is more than just a technician. With his rich swirl of Mediterranean influences and propulsive rhythms, Cook aims to please audiences with energy and charged interactions. The audience is to ecstatically witness a magnificent performance from this versatile performer due to his unique instrument delivery, combined with his creative fusion of diverse musical genres, which contributed to his success as a recording artist.
