Sierra Jazz Society January Concert With Faculty And Students

Grass Valley jazz: Bill Douglass leads the musical lineup including John Girton, Kit Bailey, Nora Nausbaum, Al Bent and SJS students. Our special guests are jazz vocalist Beth Duncan and jazzharpist Motoshi Kosako. We'll serve complimentary Coffee and cookies.

Join us on January 19 at 2 pm for the last in our Winter Concert series. Venue will be the Unitarian Universalist Community of the Mountains at 246 S. Church Street, Grass Valley (at the corner of Walsh and Church). The Concert admission is $20 for general public; Under 12 years $10.

Sierra Jazz Society is a non-profit educational organization based in Grass Valley under the leadership of jazz bassist Bill Douglass. Our concert series will continue in April with our Spring Concerts. During February and March we'll be offering both instrumental and vocal workshops with rhythm section including Bill Douglass on bass, John Girton on guitar and Kit Bailey on drums.
