CD release party for “Accents" (Zoho Music). Both the CD and this performance feature Feiner on the Brazilian pandeiro, along with the stellar band of Joel Frahm (saxophone), Freddie Bryant (guitar) and Joe Martin (bass). Feiner, a native New Yorker has been living in Rio de Janeiro for almost a decade and has become internationally renowned for his innovative mixture of the pandeiro and jazz. His previous two CDs “Pandeiro Jazz" and “Dois Mundos" have received critical acclaim both in Brazil and around the world. The later, released by the highly respected Brazilian label, Biscoito Fino, was nominated for a Latin Grammy award in 2009.
