The Darkness of a Fairy Tale is the debut album from Greek composer and saxophonist Konstantinos Papachristou, and describes the journey of a man who receives the “wake-up call" and begins his own inner search for the meaning of life.
Konstantinos composed a thematic album of modern jazz music that gains a dark programmatic mood, which motivates the listener to dive deep into his senses. Orchestration preserves Jazz's classical raw sound, while instruments such as bass, piano and drums are totally tied to the sophisticated tone of the saxophone tenor and its clear influences from ECM Records.
Konstantinos is an active musician and has participated in a variety of musical projects, while he has designed high-end electronic high-end audio equipment at both consumer and professional levels.
