Performing In Concert! Two Big Nights! At IRON DOOR SALOON/Sept. 17, 18

“Natasha James can certainly kick up the dust with a jukebox-worthy saloon song about drinking or life on the edge. She can also paint a poignant lyrical portrait of life in America, complete with all its blemishes. However, she is at her finest when she is doing a little bit of both while adding a touch of the blues." American Songwriters Magazine

James To Be A Judge, Contribute A Song To New Web Documentary, FALL IN LOVE WITH AMERICA —AGAIN

GROVELAND, CA—Multi-talented Americana/Roots singer/songwriter Natasha James continues her remarkable radio success, with her CDs TEQUILA TIME and BAD JUDGEMENTS currently being played on the air in Japan (where she is currently at #1), The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Ireland, England, France, Spain, Italy and more. Within two hours of her TEQUILA TIME being uploaded, over 400 radio downloads of her songs had occurred! MUSIC NEWS NASHVILLE called “If You Think This Is Love" a “downright Bonnie Raitt blues-y performance...one of (James') best. The song is “a twangy hip shaker guaranteed to grab you by your feet and throw you in a dancing mood."

Locally, Natasha James and Band perform for two big back-to-back nights at the historic Iron Door Saloon, 18761 Main St., Groveland, Friday and Saturday, September 17 and 18. 9:00 p.m.- 11:30 p.m. each night. No Cover. Info: (209) 962-6244 or log onto www.iron-door-saloon.com.

James will be a judge, as well as write the first song, and perform on “FALL IN LOVE WITH AMERICA—AGAIN," a documentary-style web and mobile-based audio/video/multimedia series launching this September highlighting stories from across America. In addition to being made into a feature-length documentary film, the project includes live web cam updates, a touring exhibit, interactive websites, and social/networking sites. In her judging capacity, James “will be looking for the next great American song! and working with some of the selected new songwriters," says Executive Producer, Dennis Gelbaum. http://fallinlovewithamericaagain.blogspot.com/.

“On the sophomore album from this remarkably-talented Sonoma County singer-songwriter, James is versatile enough to be comfortable in acoustic Americana styles, minor key blues, story songs, straight-ahead rockers, and, surprisingly enough, even Latin jazz...this is a mature singer-songwriter at the peak of her powers who reminds me of Bonnie Raitt and Susan Tedeschi, but has a style all her own." MARIN INDEPENDENT JOURNAL

The Sonoma County-based musician is nominated in two categories for the 2010 (20th Annual) Los Angeles Music Awards—"Female Singer/Songwriter of the Year" and “Country Artist of the Year." The LAMA's take place November 18 at Paramount Theater in Hollywood, Calif. James won “Country Album of the Year" at the 19th L.A. Music Awards last November for her critically-lauded TEQUILA TIME.

James and her band recently headlined the three-day 2010 San Felipe Tequila Festival in San Felipe, BC, Mexico. “People are still talking about the Natasha James concert on the Malécon. We'd like to see this Tequila Festival grow and grow and hope Natasha will return for the next one," said Kat Hammontre, the event's promoter.

As hot as any performer going at the moment, Natasha James won “AC/Hot AC New Artist" at the 2009 NEW MUSIC WEEKLY Awards, joining Kings of Leon, Jakob Dylan, Black-Eyed Peas and others on the prestigious winners' podium; was chosen a “Hot 100 Artist For 2009" by longtime respected trade publication, MUSIC CONNECTION; and saw TEQUILA TIME selected as a “Best Of the 2000's/End Of Decade" choice by Live 365/WOMENS RADIO, where it is presently being featured.

Natasha was recently featured and/or reviewed in SONGWRITER's MONTHLY, THAT NASHVILLE SOUND, OUTLAW MAGAZINE. and NASHVILLE COUNTRY CLUB.
