Returning the Call: More Jazz from the Unsung Heroes of Chicago Hardbop

This week Night Lights pays another visit to the 1950s/60s hardbop scene of the Windy City, featuring music from artists such as pianists John Young and Eddie Higgins, trumpeter Paul Serrano, saxophonists Ira Sullivan, Clifford Jordan, and John Gilmore, and an early edition of the MJT + 3 with saxophonist Nicky Hill and a young Muhal Richard Abrams on piano.
