Rdio has partnered with BandPage to integrate musicians’ content into the music streamer's artist stations and artist profiles. The partnership provides opportunities for musicians to grow their fan base and increase revenue while powering new features on Rdio.
BandPage powers the online profiles of 500,000 musicians and delivers select content to major music sites including Clear Channel, Google, VEVO, Live Nation, Xbox Music, Rhapsody and LyricFind. Artists can set up their BandPage Profile free, which includes music, tour dates, photos, bios, videos and a store.
The Rdio partnership will begin with BandPage powering musicians’ images on artist stations and catalog pages. As Rdio expands it's artist offerings, other content and items from the musicians’ BandPage Store will appear across artist profiles on Rdio’s web and mobile properties.
