NEW BOOK: ENTERTAINMENT GREATS FROM THE 1800'S TO THE PRESENT: CINEMA, MUSIC, DIVAS AND LEGENDS.

FAME IS PRIMORDIAL. BUT TALENT IS A MUST

Although fame is a name recognition and success trampoline, talent remains essential for longevity in showbiz. This is core and main theme of a recently published massive book ENTERTAINMENT GREATS FROM THE 1800'S TO THE PRESENT: CINEMA, MUSIC, DIVAS AND LEGENDS. The book places a strong emphasis on the work of Jazz greats from its dawn to present, as well as, on contemporary jazz singers and composers and promising talents. It gives talented artists the opportunity and platform to illustrate their unnoticed talent or disregarded accomplishments, for obvious reasons, including meager publicity campaign strategies. This new volume is a narrative gallery of PROFILES OF JAZZ SINGERS AND MUSICIANS: THE GREATS, PAST AND PRESENT.

Academically, it is a historical compendium retracing the lives and accomplishments of artists who made their mark on the universe of music, jazz and entertainment.. On the informatics level, ENTERTAINMENT GREATS FROM THE 1800'S TO THE PRESENT: CINEMA, MUSIC, DIVAS AND LEGENDS, provides a wealth of in-depth articles on various styles and genres of entertainment, stage, jazz and music around the globe, and accomplishments of contemporary artists, regardless of their fame and status quo. It begins with the early days of first recording artists and continues with the most recent Albums releases of contemporary artists. Wisconsin-based songwriter and singer Suzanne Grzanna graces the front cover. California based author and musical comedy singer, Peggy Judy appears on the back cover.

ACADEMIC, YET CONTROVERSIAL: Although, the book is an encyclopedic work of an academic nature, the author, Maximillien de Lafayette embarks on a most daring journey exploring and discussing delicate and controversial matters such as: The best and worst singers & musicians; Rating and market $ value of entertainers, singers and musicians; Categories of singers and musicians: Easy-going, tough to deal with, artists to avoid, highly recommended, the best in the business, the trouble makers, the most creative, the over rated, the under rated, artists you SHOULD hire! The bona fide divas and legends. The books contains 1,150 photos of stars and artists and several charts pertaining to the entertainment industry and rating of contemporary entertainers and performers at 3 levels: Career highlights and accomplishments; Popularity; Talent. The book is published by the Federation of American Musicians, Singers and Performing Artists,(FAMSPA) a United States nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion of quality work of singers and musicians. This book is the volume 6 of the World Who's Who in Jazz, Cabaret, Music and Entertainment; a series of 20 volumes. FAMSPA has already published 9 massive books on showbiz, jazz and world entertainment. Two more volumes will appear this year.

INCLUSION: Artists who were not included in the 6 published volumes are encouraged to apply for inclusion in the forthcoming volumes by emailing Carol Lexter at [email protected].
