TOUR STARTS DECEMBER 14 IN EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY
Prince has named the first few dates of his previously announced “Welcome 2 America" tour. According to New York R&B station WBLS via Rolling Stone, the tour kicks off December 14 at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey, where it will remain for two more nights before traveling to Madison Square Garden on the 19th and 29th of December. WBLS is also reporting that tickets will go on sale October 30, though Live Nation has not listed the dates yet.
The tour is set to feature guests Maceo Parker, Janelle Monae, Mint Condition, Esperanza Spalding, Cassandra Wilson, Lalah Hathaway and Sheila E. Backing band the New Power Generation will also perform nightly.
