The evening of the 29th will open with performer/guest introductions and poet Cheryl Wilson setting the tone with the reading of her musically inspired work Bangalore Breakdown. The program will then shift to a solid hour of Bangalore Breakdown compositions performed by 7 members of the ensemble.

This will be followed by a special improvisational tune where Bangalore Breakdown will be joined on stage by incredibly talented students from South County, Half Hallow Hills, Huntington and Great Neck school districts, ranging in ages, the youngest being 12 on to a first year college student (Bayside, Queen). Music is a world...and language onto itself. Just watch what happens... Following a short break the program will then reopen with Fred Smith where he will take us on a journey of jazz history from its beginnings in New Orleans.

Returning to the present, guest members of THE SKY MUSIC ENSEMBLE will join with Bangalore Breakdown on stage, with Carman Moore conducting his composition Rain Dance.

To complete the last set will be Bangalore Breakdown with guest artists Fred Smith, Marianna Rosett and Charles Burnham joining together in building to the grand finale of the evening where some of the students will join in as well.

A Question & Answer period plus Wine & Cheese will follow the music. Short bios will be available as a handout upon entering the Sky Room Cafe. There will be a wealth of knowledge and talent gathered in the Sky Room this evening! This is just a rough outline of the evening...but who really knows what may happen!A night of improv...expect the unexpected!!!
