Playing the Changes: Milt Hinton's Life in Stories and Photographs, has received a 2009 Award for Excellence in Historical Recorded Sound Research from the Association for Recorded Sound Collections (ARSC). The ARSC Awards recognize the finest works now being published in the field of recorded sound research.
The winners will be officially recognized at an awards banquet on May 22, 2010, during ARSC's annual conference: http://www.arsc-audio.org/conference.
