PIRAMUZ will be serving large portions of festive cheer at The Dering Arms, Pluckley, Kent, this Sunday 16 December 2007. Always searching for that elusive fourth chord, the buzz surrounding Piramuz is not merely the noise emanating from guitarist's Alex Schatunowski's amplification. With a substantial appreciation from the local farms, queues are expected in the other bar for the fine ales on offer at The Dering Arms. Piramuz drummer John Roberts said “I love carols. But I wouldn't say no to any willing Sarahs or Janes either". Recently compared with Eric Clapton, Alex Schatunowski (pictured) was cruelly told that the similarity ended with his looks. Exasperated, Alex Schatunowski challenges gig-goers to judge for themselves.

Piramuz will be performing a myriad of jazz-tinged singalong songs, including Slade's classic Merry Xmas everybody. This performance will be open to the public, with free admission. You're guaranteed value for money just to see Brian May lookalike Alistair Redler's lip-sync'ing to Noddy Holder's immortal lyric “Does your Granny always tell ya, the old ones are the best....she'll be up and rock and rolling with the rest".

“Diamond" Al Thompson and Bob “Birdbrain" Bird will be guesting on vocals, harmonica, percussion, and anything else they can lay their hands on to bang or blow.

Thrilled to be returning to the village with reputedly the most paranormal activity reported in the whole of England, Piramuz will offer haunting and perhaps frighteningly shocking cover versions. Keyboard player and vocalist Will Minting and friends look forward to raising the roof, and a lot of laughs.
