Los Angeles. With his latest CD release “Cover Up" climbing the Jazz charts, Jazz Pianist George Kahn, will be appearing at two venues in San Diego on the same day, Saturday, July 12th.
First, you can catch George performing at the Temecula Valley Jazz Festival. He'll be appearing as the George Kahn Trio for a half hour set from 4:15 - 4:45, as part of the Chuck Niles Jazz Competition. Then later in the evening, George will be entertaining the crowd at Frankie's Steak and Seafood featuring Courtney Lemmon on vocals. Sets start at 6:30 - 10:30 PM. Reservations are suggested. Frankie's serves prime cuts of meats and the freshest seafood available with an Italian accent. The setting is reminiscent of the Hollywood Rat Pack era with a Baby Grand and martini bar, flanked by an extensive wine cellar.
