Composer/lyricist/pianist Father John D'Amico has been a Philadelphia area favorite for over 40 years. Indeed, it seems there isn’t a venue he hasn’t played or a musician he hasn’t backed. And some of those musicians include Lionel Hampton, Lew Tabackin, Etta Jones and many more. Legendary drummer Philly Joe Jones was a part of D’Amico’s trio at one point.
