CLEVELAND—Glass Harp (featuring acclaimed guitarist Phil Keaggy) is proud to announce the release of a new live CD, Live At The Beachland Ballroom 11.01.08. The recording was made during the band's headline appearance at the 2008 benefit for Roots of American Music; an organization dedicated to continuing arts education in our schools through performances of traditional American music for students.

Known, variously, as pioneers in the jam band, Christian music and progressive rock genres, previous Glass Harp releases have included more song-oriented material. For decades, the band's stylistic versatility and explosive jams in a live setting have only been evidenced in reviews, the memories of concertgoers, and various bootleg recordings. Heard here for the first time on CD are extended versions of classic songs bridged together by improvisational segments, amounting to the band's most adventurous release to date. Brett Warner of Ology notes “(This is) A musically stunning, powerful live performance from one of rock's great little-known bands." From the band's standpoint, bassist Daniel Pecchio points out “This is finally us, caught on tape, doing what we do best."

In support of the CD, Glass Harp will perform select concerts through the remainder of 2010. Sample tracks are available at Glass Harp's Reverb Nation page.

The CD is available now for purchase at glassharp.net, and will be available in all stores/online retailers in the Fall of 2010.
