Remember when Google Glass was a thing? At least to us media people? As Google Glass has gone from hard to get to available if you can afford it, it's mostly dropped out of music-related news. But yesterday Pandora launched a Google Glass app aka “Glassware" bringing the incredibly popular web radio service to Glass users.

Pandora announced Pandora for Glass yesterday on their blog. Here's a mockup of what the app shows:

Pandora for Glass was created at a 72-hour company hackathon:

“During the Hack-a-thon this spring, one team developed a hack for Pandora on Glass. It was such a hit that we decided to show it to Google, and we’re excited to announce today’s launch of Pandora for Glass."

They also shared more specific details on the product:

“Our Glassware allows you to access your personalized radio stations from wherever you are, interacting with the service through voice command or by using the touchpad. Supported voice commands for Pandora include selecting an existing station and creating a new one."

“For a more advanced experience, you can use the touchpad, which offers the ability to thumb-up and thumb-down tracks, as well as access standard controls like pause, skip and stop."

You can see additional Recommended Glassware where you'll also find Google Play Music, musiXmatch and YouTube.
