This past summer Mike played at The Jazz Kitchen with Rob Dixon and really liked the way he played. I really dug Rob's playing. He's a great player and very soulful. I wanted to use him on the record I was working on. We started talking, one thing led to another, and just a few months later, I'm signing a contract with Owl!", says Mike. Al Hall, president of Owl Studios, stated: Mike Clark is an extremely good fit with the theme of Owl Studios."
Mike Clark gained worldwide recognition as one of America's foremost jazz and funk drummers while playing with Herbie Hancock's group in the early 1970's.
