On Thursday, November 8, 2007, The 8th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards announced Ojos de Brujo and their album Techar as the winner for “Best Flamenco Album." Ramn Gimnez, one of the band's guitarists, was there to receive the prestigious award.

“We are excited that the Latin Recording Academy has recognized this innovative band who are taking flamenco music into the future," says Bob Duskis, president and co-founder of Six Degrees Records.

Six Degrees Records is also proud to announce the release date of Ojos de Brujo's next album, Techar Live, due out on January 29, 2008 in North America. The CD and DVD set titled Techar Live was recorded live at the band's concert in Barcelona on December 2006. Techar Live includes live performances, a documentary, previously unreleased songs and “other surprises." BBC World has already said, “Techar Live, the new album from Barcelonians Ojos de Brujo, sets expectations high...and it doesn't disappoint. The album benefits from being a concert recording - the set list was clearly designed to thrill a crowd." For those who have not seen the band live or want to relive their amazing onstage performance, this album captures it both visually and audibly with plenty of bonus features.
