NEW YORK, NY – On April 30th, 2009, Singer/Songwriter Marcus Goldhaber will open “NIGHTtime” for a limited engagement at The Night Hotel. Performances will be every Thursday through July 2nd, 2009, with sets at 6pm & 7:45pm.

This boutique hotel is an exercise of Modern Gothic Gotham, filled with black and white dcor and nestled secretly behind the mayhem of midtown’s Times Square, making this an ideal place to serve as the after-work ‘go to’ locale on Thursday evenings.

Night will be offering an exclusive Happy Hour cocktail menu paired with suggested hors d’oeuvres, designed specifically for Marcus’ Thursday night crowd. A vibrant candlelit atmosphere, a delicious menu, and sexy cocktails all match perfectly with the sounds of this exciting and romantic vocal stylist.

This engagement comes on the heels of an amazing response to Marcus’ second album, “Take Me Anywhere,” which has since earned glowing reviews in All About Jazz, Jazz Improv, Jazz Times, Jazz Weekly, eJazzNews, Jazziz, and a 4 out of 4 Star review in People Magazine.

When asked about the new partnership with The Night Hotel, Marcus replied, “I’m very excited to sing at Night…the room is uniquely ideal for Jazz and offers the perfect setting for an intimate connection with the audience.”

On Thursday, Marcus will be joined by The Jon Davis Trio, featuring Pat O’leary (bass) and Willard Dyson (drums).

The Night Hotel (NightHotelNY.com) is located at 132 West 45th Street (between Broadway & 6th Avenue). To RSVP for “NightTime” with Marcus Goldhaber, contact 646.827.9594 or [email protected]

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
