Preparations to record Jazz-Chamber Music, Vol. 2 are officially under way and I have to say, I'm really excited. The same cast of characters will be involved, along with some new ones. Brian Blade and Scott Colley will be returning and Antonio Sanchez will join us for the first time. Of course, the nucleus of the group--Bob Sheppard, Carol Robbins, and Larry Koonse--will be there as well. Perhaps, most exciting of all - we'll be joined by the Ying String Quartet, a world renowned, Grammy Award winning classical string quartet.
