Barcelona Music presents the Thomas Lorenzo Quartet's Spanish Breeze. A Crossroads of Australian and Spanish culture.

“I am the son of Spanish immigrants that left behind fascism in the 50's to start a new life in Australian democracy. This CD is the crossroad where Australia and Spain meet," says Thomas Lorenzo

Alphonso Johnson (Weather Report), Dave Garfield (George Benson) and Walfredo Reyes Jr (Santana) were enchanted by the compositions of an Australian Spanish composer on the other side of the world. “Discover what no worries on the Mediterranean can feel and you will also travel 12000 km to feel it,” states Alphonso Johnson when asked why attracted him to this musical concept.

This encounter has produced the live show and CD named Spanish Breezes--engineered by 2009 Grammy nominated Sugar Brown (Ringo Star) at the world famed West Lake Recording Studios in Los Angeles.

Thomas describes his compositions and live quartet sound as: “An intimate encounter with compositions that enjoy space, improvisation, breathing, time think and groove. The perfect ingredients to make me feel good.”
