"Traditional, Contemporary and “Real Smooth Jazz" - The Best of All Worlds"

Philadelphia, PA. -- Seizing the opportunity to address and correct many of the problems on the current radio scene, longtime Philadelphia Jazz Ambassador and Radio Air Personality, Earle Brown, has created a very unique twenty-four hour Internet Jazz Radio Station, TheJazzy1.com.

“Our mission is to preserve, promote and advance the music of past, present and future jazz artists to listeners around the world as we take great pride in knowing that we stand in the present and on the shoulders of past giants as we look to the future," Brown said.

The station's aim is to provide the finest blend of jazz in existence, including Traditional, Contemporary, Afro-Cuban, Latin, Brazilian and “Real Smooth Jazz."

Brown went on to point out that the each listener of the station is invited to become a Jazzy One and join a global community of arts and culture lovers enjoying a number of musical journeys. “As a Jazzy One, your opinion counts towards making the 'journey' that much more enjoyable for you," Brown said.

Listeners of the station will also be given advance information on special concerts and performances, as well as, invitations to private receptions, showcases and other major jazz events. Additional opportunities will be given to enter various contests, drawings, give-a-ways and various other promotions as the station grows.

According to Brown, the station's goal over the next five years is “to become one of the top Jazz Radio Stations in the world." He said that the station expects to achieve its ambitious goal through “utilizing a combination of emerging technologies and innovations to deliver the finest blend of jazz in existence from an ever expanding musical library of over 50,000 songs."

“Geographically located behind the eyes and between the ears."
