Nationally Renowned Jazz Artists To Appear At South Bay Entertainment Group

LOS ANGELES, CA - The South Bay Entertainment Group, in conjunction with the City of Inglewood Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services will host the second annual Jazz In The Park festival during labor day weekend on September 4 and 5 at the amphitheater in Edward Vincent Jr. Park in Inglewood. The event will feature an all star line-up of popular jazz musicians such as Freddie Ravel, Phil Perry, Jeanette Harris, Eloise Laws, Bobby Lyles, Marion Meadows, Joyce Cooling, Karen Briggs and Hidden Beach Unwrapped Band.

The 2003 first annual South Bay Jazz Festival was attended by over 2000 enthusiastic fans and featured such celebrated contemporary jazz artists as Norman Brown, Wayman Tisdale, Everette Harp, Hiroshima, Gregg Karukas, and Rick Perkins. Good weather, good music, and good behavior marked the event, which was a source of civic pride for Inglewood residents who have long fought against negative stereotypes associated with the city.

With an expected attendance of more than 3,500 guests per day, this years crowd will be treated not only to an afternoon filled with live music but also a Festival Marketplace and an International Food Court. Without a doubt, this year
