With its second independent release, Sacramento, CA based Nagual continues to expand its musical reach. With an emphasis on improvisation, the music on this new release spans a wide range of musical influences yet still maintains a distinct ensemble sound.
Led by guitarist/composer Victor Contreras, Nagual members Scott Anderson, Saxophones; Paul Relvas, Bass; Harold Mu, Congas; and Ron Ochoa, Drums; and their musical guests, have combined their vast professional musical experience and individual creativity to provide an experience that encourages the listener to transcend into unexplored levels of musical appreciation.
All compositions are originals written by Nagual members and also includes two songs written by bassist/composer Kerry Kashiwagi.
